Ciele Athletics Debuts the Cold Weather Collection

The technical apparel brand’s inaugural line of cold-weather performance runwear

The Cold Weather Collection introduces two of Ciele’s newest winter fabric technologies: COOLmatic | EXP DIAMAfleece™, a lightweight diamond grid of recycled polyester pile with embedded carbon for enhanced temperature control, and Sorino | WS, a 100% natural wool and silk blend that delivers exceptional warmth with minimal bulk. The line also features reflective detailing for enhanced visibility in dark conditions, two-way zippers for versatility, UPF protection, moisture-wicking capabilities and machine washability. Reflecting on the collection’s headwear specifically, Ciele Athletics headwear designer Julie St-Louis shares, “As a designer, my focus was on creating headwear that balances warmth and breathability for cold weather. I tested and refined prototypes in real conditions to ensure optimal temperature regulation. The Cold Weather Collection is designed to keep runners comfortable and performing at their best, regardless of the cold. Each piece combines innovative materials with practical features for exceptional protection and versatility.”

HOTHCap: An Arctic-ready cap equipped to regulate temperature from start to finish with all-natural wool and silk insulation, a C0 DWR breathable outer shell, and ear flaps and neck protection that fold up or down depending on conditions.

FLTCap WND: Ciele’s winter-ready GOCap, crafted with COOLmatic | EXP DIAMAfleece™ on the top, wind- and rain-proof fleece back panels, and foldable ear flaps and neck protection to keep the cold out.

HLSLongsleeve Sorino: A necessary cold-weather layer, this base layer has integrated thumb holes to keep sleeves in place and is made of all-natural merino and silk Sorino | WS fabric for warmth.
