Bruster’s Real Ice Cream Named Title Sponsor of the 2022 Pittsburgh Pet Walk

The premium homemade ice cream chain will offer a limited-edition Finish Line Fudge flavor during the 2022 DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of Events

PITTSBURGH, PA (February 15, 2022) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – P3R announced today that Bruster’s Real Ice Cream will be the title sponsor of the Pittsburgh Pet Walk. Since 1989, Bruster’s has been serving premium homemade ice cream in the Pittsburgh area and will also be the official ice cream partner of P3R events, including the 2022 DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of Events. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a limited-edition Finish Line Fudge flavor to celebrate their accomplishments during race weekend. The company will also offer their famous Doggie Sundaes so all four-legged participants can join in the celebration.

Part of “Family Day” on April 30, the Bruster’s Real Ice Cream Pittsburgh Pet Walk will welcome four-legged friends and their owners to cover a 1-mile course around Point State Park. Proceeds from the event will benefit Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh.

“This is our 8^th year being involved with the event, and we are excited to again partner with P3R.  Each year we’ve been able to raise important funds for our two low-cost, high quality veterinary medical centers and our many community support programs” said Gerry Delon, Executive Director of Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. “We also love this event because we get to see some of our recently adopted friends at the start line!”

Attracting nearly 40,000 runners annually, the DICK’S Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Weekend of Events is Pittsburgh’s largest sporting event. The 2022 event will inspire the entire family to MOVE with an event for everyone.
