New Partnership with Luxury Automotive Brand Announced for Prestigious East Coast Triathlon

MERCER COUNTY, NJ – July 18, 2024 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Challenge Family and Motiv Sports today announced BMW as the official automotive partner for the Challenge New Jersey State Triathlon, taking place this weekend, July 20-21, 2024. Athletes will be able to engage in BMW vehicle test drives on Saturday July 20^th from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Finish Line Festival. BMW will offer test drives in the latest vehicles, including the all-electric iX. Runners won’t want to miss the chance to get behind the wheel and experience the Ultimate Driving Machine for themselves!

The Challenge New Jersey State Triathlon, based in the scenic Mercer County Park, offers one of the country’s fastest and flattest courses. With a history of selling out with more than 3,000 athletes, the event is a longtime highlight of the summer sports calendar. Participants can look forward to a serene, current-free swim in Mercer Lake, followed by a swift, smooth bike ride on closed county roads, and a picturesque run through the park’s shaded trails.

The Challenge New Jersey State Triathlon will also be the first Challenge Family Olympic distance event offering qualification slots for The Championship, Challenge Family’s qualification-only flagship event held annually in Šamorin, Slovakia. The top three finishers in each age group will earn the opportunity to compete at this prestigious global event.

About The Challenge New Jersey State Triathlon

Home of the New Jersey State Championships, the award-winning Challenge New Jersey State Triathlon, has sold out to 3,500 triathletes annually since its inception in 2006. On Saturday, July 20, a sprint-distance triathlon will feature a 500-meter swim, 11.5-mile bike and 3.1-mile run. The Olympic-distance follows on Sunday, July 21, featuring a 1,500m swim, 25.2-mile bike and 6.2-mile run. Both races will be held on a flat and fast course at Mercer County Park, with the swim taking place at Mercer Lake.
