BMW Dallas Marathon Festival Announces Exclusive Retail Partnership with Fleet Feet

The athletic apparel retailer will become the official running retailer of the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival

DALLAS/ May 30, 2024 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival is proud to announce that Fleet Feet, a running apparel retailer with more than 270 locally owned and operated stores nationwide, including eight DFW locations, has become the official running store retail partner, forming a multi-year partnership supporting the annual December race weekend and additional events.

Jason Schuchard, president of the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival, said his team is thrilled about the partnership, which will mean a year-around retail presence at Fleet Feet’s DFW locations.

“We couldn’t be more excited to announce this partnership and expand our event apparel offerings,” Schuchard said. “We love working with Fleet Feet and look forward to their continued presence throughout the year at our Fall Fun Runs and via their training group options for those gearing up for December.”

In addition to offering event-branded apparel in its DFW stores, Fleet Feet will also offer an exclusive shopping experience at this year’s Health & Fitness Expo. The Expo, held Dec. 13-14 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, is where participants will pick up race packets and can sample and buy merchandise from running, fitness and health-related vendors. Admission into the Expo is free and open to the public.

The partnership marks the first time Fleet Feet Dallas has sponsored a major running event in Texas, signifying the brand’s growing presence throughout the state.

Registration is now open for the BMW Dallas Marathon Festival. The annual BMW Dallas Marathon, Half Marathon (running and walking), 50K Ultra Marathon, and Shell Energy Relays will take place on Sunday, Dec.15. The EIGHT K, 5K (running and walking), 5K Team Challenge, Kid’s 100-Meter Dash and Oncor Kid’s Race will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, and the Friday Night Lights Mile will return on Friday, Dec. 13.

The weekend of events directly benefits Scottish Rite for Children Hospital. Since being named as the primary beneficiary in 1997, the Dallas White Rock Marathon has donated more than $4.5 million to the hospital.
