Baton Rouge General Mardi Gras Mambo Inspires a Healthy Spin on Carnival

Baton Rouge, LA. (February 11, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/  – The 27th annual Baton Rouge General Mardi Gras Mambo is set to take place on February 15th. This local tradition inspires runners all around to take a healthy spin on carnival. Held at North Boulevard Town Square, this race is held prior to Carnival Season to encourage all to stay healthy during this festive season.

The Mambo features a 10K for those looking to notch a qualifying time for seeded corrals at the Crescent City Classic, as well as a 15K for a longer challenge, and the Raising Cane’s One Mile Fun Run.

Following the race, participants are invited to enjoy the Baton Rouge Clinic Finish Fest Carnival. The Brasshearts will entertain participants as they enjoy breakfast of pancakes and Caluda’s king cake.
