Bank of America Chicago Marathon Requires Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test For 2021 Participants

Bank of America Chicago Marathon organizers released COVID-19 guidelines “to help create a safe racing environment for all 35,000registered participants.”

Registered participants of the 2021 Bank of America Chicago Marathon will be required to provide proof of a complete COVID-19 vaccination series or a negative COVID-19 test result to participate in the marathon, race organizers announced Tuesday.

The marathon’s COVID protocols were revealed for the Oct. 10 race as organizers unveiled this year’s elite field of world-class runners. NBC
