ATRA announces partnership with UltraSignup
February 10, 2020
Colorado Springs, CO – The American Trail Running Association (ATRA) has partnered with UltraSignup to be its preferred registration provider and a member of its Event Standards Program. ATRA’s Event Standards Program debuted in 2012, and now includes vendors and suppliers as partners to further assist trail race directors in meeting ATRA’s 15 criteria necessary for staging a safe and well-organized event.
As part of this partnership, UltraSignup with host American Trail Running Association membership processing for individual trail runners, brands, clubs, race directors, and run specialty stores.
“For over a decade, we’ve watched UltraSignup grow and respected how they have added value for trail runners with integrated registration, race results, athlete rankings and timing. UltraSignup is a home-grown company that shares our passion for helping trail running events of all sizes be successful,” said Nancy Hobbs, ATRA’s executive director. “We’re excited about new digital integrations we’re creating with UltraSignup’s CEO Mark Gilligan. These are just what we need to grow our membership and also makes signing up for trail races easier than ever.”
One of those initiatives has been driven by ATRA board member Greg Lantot, co-owner of Pacific Coast Trail Runs, who will include ATRA membership as an option for his race participants during their registration process on UltraSignup. “We are hoping that other race directors follow Greg’s lead and add ATRA membership as an option during their event registration process,” said Hobbs.
In addition, ATRA’s T.R.I.P. Event Liability Insurance program through Nicholas Hill Group will be included as one of the insurance options offered in UltraSignup’s tools section for race directors.
Adam W. Chase, ATRA president, said, “I’ve always been impressed with the impressive resource UltraSignup has been for trail race participants and directors and see this as a wonderful opportunity for ATRA to be associated with such a top-notch outfit. I’m confident the organization will benefit immediately from the partnership and look forward to working with UltraSignup.”
UltraSignup CEO Mark Gilligan said, “We are very excited to partner with ATRA. With our shared vision, our collaboration will strengthen the sport of trail running through increased promotion and visibility of trail events throughout North America.”
UltraSignup joins Ashworth Awards, Marathon Printing, Inc., Leslie Jordan, Active at Altitude, Joe Viger Photography, Nicholas Hill Group, and Athletes for a Fit Planet in our Event Standards Partner Program.
