Custom Cycling Apparel Designer Athlos Returns as Technical Partner for Second Year

BALTIMORE, Maryland (May 11, 2023)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Maryland Cycling Classic, presented by UnitedHealthcare, America’s top-ranked cycling race, today revealed its official commemorative jersey for 2023 designed by Athlos Sportswear. Headquartered in Baltimore, the custom cycling apparel company is returning as technical partner of the event for a second year, which takes place on Sunday, September 3, 2023 in Baltimore, Md.

This year’s Maryland Cycling Classic jersey highlights iconic Maryland landmarks and Baltimore-centric historic icons including Fort Henry, the Harbor Bay Bridge, the Maryland Crab, and the Baltimore city grid. A nod to the Maryland state flag, the jersey is infused with red, black, yellow and white, and also features finish line checkers.

As part of a three-year partnership with Maryland Cycling Classic, Athlos supplies all key staff and technical apparel for the event as well as the official awards jerseys, including the following categories: race champion, sprint points champion, King of the Mountain points champion, Best Young Rider, and Most Inspirational Rider. Designs and sponsors of award jerseys will be announced this summer.
