Amazon to Provide FREE Kids Day Events at the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon

Amazon Continues as Official Community Partner of Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon

BOSTON – August 3, 2023 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – ethos, the mass participation event organization that presents the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon, today announced that Amazon will continue as the official community partner of Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon. Thanks to Amazon’s partnership, registration for Kids Day is free to all. Kids Day takes place on August 26, 2023, and is part of the weekend long Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon event. Registration can be found HERE.

“We are committed to making this important event accessible to all, so we are excited to partner again with Amazon to make Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon free for all,” said Michael O’Neil, president of the Boston Triathlon. “Boston-area kids, with an interest in running and swimming, will continue to have the opportunity to participate thanks to Amazon’s generous support.”

Designed to inspire health and fitness and to give all kids a positive pathway through sports, Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon will feature the USA Triathlon-sanctioned Kids Splash & Dash for athletes ages 7-15, as well as a Kids Fun Run for athletes under the age of seven. Youth groups from across New England are invited to participate, as well as individual children.

The Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon brings together athletes of all ages and abilities to compete in Olympic and sprint distance triathlons. All events take place at the beautiful South Boston waterfront and begin at DCR’s Carson Beach. This year’s triathlon also includes the new 2023 Team Championship Cup competition, which has $5,000 in prizes up for grabs. The two-day Boston Triathlon begins with Kids Day on Saturday, August 26, 2023, while Olympic and sprint distance competitions take place on Sunday, August 27, 2023.
