Upwards of 12,000 racers will head to Morzine from July 4-6 2025 for one of the toughest and most spectacular weekends in the Spartan calendar.

Set in the heart of the French Alps, this is not your average OCR event. With steep mountain trails, punishing elevation, testing obstacles, and unpredictable weather conditions, this is where Spartan legends are made. Whether you’re looking to earn your Trifecta or compete among the best in the world in the Ultra World Championship, this is the ultimate test of strength, endurance, and grit.

Don’t be fooled by the postcard-perfect alpine views – Morzine is known for its brutal terrain and demanding courses. This is a race weekend designed to push every athlete, from first-timers to OCR elites.

What’s on offer:

• Ultra 50K | 60 obstacles – the official Spartan Ultra World Championship (Friday July, 4)
• Beast 21K | 30 obstacles (Saturday July, 5)
• Hurricane Heat | 4, 12 or 24-hour team-based endurance events (Saturday July, 5)
• Kids Race | 1K – 3K with age-appropriate obstacles (Saturday July, 5)
• Sprint 5K | 20 obstacles (Sunday July, 6)
• Super 10K | 25 obstacles (Sunday July, 6)
