Annapolis Running Festival Returns for Third Year on March 22nd
March 18, 2025

Annapolis, MD (March 18, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Annapolis Running Festival is set to return for its third annual event on Saturday, March 22nd, 2025, bringing over 3,600 runners from over 34 states together to Annapolis.
The festival offers something for every runner, with three distinct race distances: the Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k. The half-marathon and 10K participants will traverse across the Naval Academy Bridge, giving runners picturesque waterfront views and a tour of Anne Arundel County on the beautiful B & A Trail before heading back to the stadium. All races start and finish at the iconic Navy Stadium and provide a trip down main street to beautiful historic downtown Annapolis.
Following the race, participants and their supporters are invited to commemorate their accomplishment at the Celebration Village, where they can enjoy live music, shop vendors, and indulge in post-race refreshments. Thanks to event sponsor Michelob Ultra, runners 21 and over can enjoy a celebratory beer, while all attendees can savor fresh oysters and steamed shrimp.
The event will feature an exciting element of the “Charity Chaser.” Annapolis Detective Courtney Moore will start the Half Marathon dead last, and for every runner they pass, Corrigan Sports Enterprises will donate $4 to the Annapolis Police Foundation. Officer Moore participated as the Charity Chaser in 2024 and raised $2,600 for the Annapolis Police Foundation.
The event also benefits the Friends of Anne Arundel County Trails organization who work throughout the year to make all the local trails in Anne Arundel County in shape.
This year, the event will also support The Anne Arundel County Police Reserves who support the Anne Arundel County Police Department in their special event endeavors throughout the county.
Registration for the Annapolis Running Festival is still open, but spots are filling quickly. For more information or to sign up, visit www.annapolisrunfest.com.
