USA Triathlon Foundation Welcomes Triathlon Hall of Fame Member Mark Allen in a Historic Partnership to Elevate the Sport on the Road to LA 2028

His leadership will play a vital role in strengthening the sport and engaging the community as the Foundation builds momentum toward the LA 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Allen’s triathlon legacy is unmatched. A six-time Ironman World Champion, the International Triathlon Union’s inaugural World Champion, and winner of 21 consecutive races, Allen was named The Greatest Endurance Athlete of All Time by ESPN and inducted into the USA Triathlon Hall of Fame in 2012. Since retiring from elite competition, Allen has transitioned to a successful coaching career, while also sharing his lessons and teachings from triathlon as a motivational speaker and writer.
Now, he brings his expertise, passion, and vision to USA Triathlon Foundation, helping to shape its High Performance initiatives and donor engagement strategies.

Allen will also play a critical role in shaping the Foundation’s Homecoming Vision for the LA 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, ensuring the Games become a defining moment for the sport. With his experience and leadership, he will help drive initiatives that inspire athletes, engage the multisport community, and elevate USA Triathlon’s presence on the global stage.
