XTERRA Announces 2025 World Cup Schedule with Expanded Circuit
February 27, 2025

February 27, 2025 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The XTERRA World Cup returns for its third season in 2025 with an expanded eight-stop, 11-race circuit, for the world’s top off-road triathletes to compete at the highest level.
This year introduces two new venues—Dunsborough, Australia, and Weston Park, UK—while the 2025 XTERRA World Championship has been removed from the series standings, allowing both competitions to stand on their own.
“The XTERRA World Cup crowns the best across the series, while the World Championship determines the best on the day,” said XTERRA VP of Operations and Marketing J-D Cousens. “By separating them, we’re ensuring that each title gets the full attention it deserves.”
Series Specifics
The 2025 XTERRA World Cup will feature seven Full Distance races and four Short Track events, with athletes earning points at every stop. The series will conclude with the livestreamed final Short Track Triathlon in Trentino, Italy, just days before the 2025 XTERRA World Championship.
Points will be awarded based on placement, with 100 points for Full Distance winners and 75 for the Short Track. Every race counts, making consistency across both formats essential for any athlete hoping to claim the series title.
Reigning champions Felix Forissier (FRA) and Solenne Billouin (FRA) will look to defend their crowns against an elite field of challengers, including a growing wave of emerging talent eager to make their mark.
