Megan Faulkner Named Executive Director of Falmouth Road Race, Inc.

Faulkner takes the lead for nonprofit and the ASICS Falmouth Road Race

FALMOUTH, Mass. (February 3, 2025) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/  – Falmouth Road Race Inc., the nonprofit organization that produces the annual ASICS Falmouth Road Race, has announced the appointment of Megan Faulkner as executive director. Faulkner takes the helm as the organization prepares for the 53rd annual running of the famed seven-mile road race on Aug. 17, the Falmouth Track Festival on Aug. 15 and the 45th edition of the Shipwrecked Falmouth in the Fall race on Nov. 2.

Faulkner got her start with Falmouth Road Race, Inc. in 2012. In her 13 years of experience with the organization, Faulkner has served as director of sponsorships and special events and manager of the Health & Fitness Expo. Her expertise in endurance sports events production has also been honed in her work with DMSE Sports as an event experience manager. Her resume includes work with the lululemon running event series and the Boston Marathon.

Faulkner is a born-and-raised Falmouth native. She resides in East Falmouth with her husband Mike, daughters Hannah and Grace and their chocolate lab Finn. Their family is deeply ingrained in the road race, supporting the event as staff, volunteers, charity runners and participants over the years. When she’s not dedicating her time to the organization and its events, she enjoys party planning, spending time with her family, going to the beach and traveling.
