New Logo First Step Rebranding concept

December 23, 2023 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – After over a decade of cycling innovation, the Gran Fondo World Tour® is setting its sights on a bold new future. Over the past 10 years, the series has covered more than 100,000 miles, flying across the globe to connect with, learn from, and collaborate with some of the best Gran Fondo events worldwide.

A Decade of Adventure

From conquering altitudes above 4,000 meters to reaching the edge of the world in Tierra del Fuego, the Gran Fondo World Tour® has consistently pushed the boundaries of adventure. Riders have experienced the midnight sun in Arctic Circle events, climbed iconic peaks such as the Galibier, Madeleine, and the Dolomites, and traversed the vast landscapes of North America, the Central Asian steppes of Kazakhstan, and the heart of Africa.

The journey has extended to coastal trails along Australia’s east coast, the scenic roads of Chiang Mai and Phuket in Thailand, and the most prestigious global cities, including Firenze, Seoul, Oslo, Barcelona, Zadar, Girona, Andorra, Nice, and Lausanne.

Island destinations such as Gran Canaria, Madeira, Menorca, Sicily, Malta, and Cyprus have also formed part of this extraordinary adventure. Additional highlights include legendary tracks like “Strade Bianche” and challenging climbs in the Slovenian Alps, the Vermont Green Mountains, and Seoraksan National Park in South Korea.

What’s Next for Gran Fondo World Tour®?

“What’s next?” has been the question driving the team forward. Today, the Gran Fondo World Tour® announces its reinvigorated vision, powered by years of experience and a passion for adventure.

“We’ve recharged our batteries, ready to ride farther, explore deeper, and bring cyclists the most exotic and inspiring destinations on two wheels,” said Dani Buyo, CEO and Founder of Gran Fondo World Tour®. “Gran Fondo is more than competition—it’s about exploration, adventure, and connecting with a global community of riders.”

A New Era, A New Identity

The organization is launching a new era, marked by the introduction of a refreshed logo. This is the first step in redefining how Gran Fondo World Tour® approaches cyclotourism and cycling events. The vision goes beyond road cycling, incorporating gravel and mixed-terrain events at unique and extraordinary locations worldwide.

“Since starting this journey in 2015, the path has not always been clear. But now, we are guided by our free spirit, focused on delivering the most exceptional non-professional cycling and tourism calendar the world has ever seen,” Buyo continued.

A Global Cycling Community

Gran Fondo World Tour® invites riders from all over the world to discover new countries, venture farther north and south, and embrace the shared love of cycling. This initiative emphasizes the joy of exploration and the challenge of riding long distances, with competition serving as just one part of the broader experience.

The Gran Fondo World Tour® community is ready to embark on the next chapter of this extraordinary journey, promising challenges, unforgettable discoveries, and lifelong memories.
