2025 Roster and Sponsor Additions for the Upcoming Season
BOSTON, Mass. (December 17, 2024) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – CCB p/b Levine Law Group Elite Women’s Cycling Team is excited to announce its 2025 roster and expanded support network as it continues to grow as a proven under 23 development program. The team has a track record of success, including six U23 national championship titles since the program’s inception in 2021. More riders, men and women, have graduated to professional level from CCB than from any other American based development program in the last 25 years. CCB remains committed to advancing pathways for young women in cycling while emphasizing higher education through athletics.
“Our primary goal is to prepare our athletes for the next step in their careers, whether that means earning professional contracts or competing on the world stage,” said team Sports Director Lauren LeClaire. “We’re proud of our successes, but our mission is about more than podium finishes. It’s about fostering growth, both as athletes and as individuals. With the addition of talented, top level riders like Makayla MacPherson and up-and-comers like Jorja Bond and Katherine Sarkisov to round out a strong list of returning riders, we’re poised for another strong season.”
This year, CCB will turn its focus toward preparing athletes for the inaugural U23 Women’s category at the 2025 World Championships in Kigali, Rwanda, aiming to solidify the team’s presence on this historic stage. The 2025 race calendar will feature a diverse mix of road, criterium, and gravel events across North America and Europe, providing the team with opportunities to compete at the highest levels.
In 2025, CCB will maintain a continued presence in US gravel racing. Returning rider, Cécile Lejeune, who had an outstanding season on the US road and criterium circuit this year, will shift her focus exclusively to represent CCB in gravel races for 2025, having secured a spot in the highly coveted Life Time Grand Prix series. She will take on 6 iconic off-road events, racing against 50 of the world’s best cyclists for the $380,000 prize purse. Alongside the Life Time events, Lejeune will compete in other top gravel competitions around the US.
Expanded Staff to Better Support Athletes
To enhance athlete development and performance, CCB has added key staff members for the 2025 season to supplement the leadership efforts of Sports Director Lauren LeClaire and Technical Director Tim Mitchell:
- Karson Mui: Providing physio and chiropractic services through his Mui Chiropractic practice, Mui will be traveling with the team to ensure optimal recovery and injury prevention. Karson has worked with high profile events and athletes including the X Games, Boston Marathon, professional rugby, and UCI BMX in leadup to the 2028 LA Olympic Games.
- Robby Ketchell: The original aero-guru of the cycling world, Robby’s expertise in bike fitting and aerodynamic performance will help maximize rider efficiency through his Aero.Chat platform. Robby has previously worked with Slipstream Sports (now known as EF Education First) and Team Sky (now known as Ineos).
- Bart Lipinski (ProThirteen Cycling Coaching): Lipinski will serve as the team’s Performance Director, coordinating with individual athlete coaches to improve overall team cohesion, event preparation, and results.
- Jitka Borowick (Nové Yoga & Wellness): Building on her involvement with the team from 2024, Borowick will provide comprehensive yoga and stretching programs for each athlete, mindfulness activities, and goal-setting support for athletes.
“This expanded staff will provide access for our riders to resources typically seen at the professional level,” said Technical Director Tim Mitchell. “We’re committed to providing our athletes with the tools and resources they need to succeed, both on and off the bike.”
