Life Time Announces 2025 UNBOUND Gravel Qualifying Events

Five events provide gravel cyclists the chance to qualify for the iconic race if they missed the lottery

EMPORIA, Kan., (November 21, 2024) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Following today’s announcement of lottery winners for the 2025 Life Time UNBOUND Gravel presented by Shimano, Life Time, the nation’s premier healthy lifestyle brand and owner/producer of nearly 30 athletic events, has announced five gravel races that will serve as qualifying events for the ‘World’s Premier Gravel Event.’

With this, cyclists will have additional chances to secure their way to Emporia if they missed out on a lottery spot. 2025 qualifying events include:

• April 11, 2025: Life Time Sea Otter Classic Gravel (90 mile) in Monterey, California
• July 12, 2025: Life Time Crusher in the Tushar (70 mile) in Beaver, Utah
• August 10, 2025: Heathland Gravel (100 mile) in Lindburg, Belgium
• September 27, 2025: Life Time Rad Dirt Fest (70 mile and 110 mile) in Trinidad, Colorado
• October 18, 2025: Life Time Big Sugar Gravel (100 mile) in Bentonville, Arkansas

Each event will have at least 50 qualifying spots available. Half will go to the top riders in each category, while the other half will be awarded based on random draw of eligible participants. Winners will receive guaranteed entry to the subsequent Life Time UNBOUND Gravel, or one year after that.

Registration for the Life Time Sea Otter Classic is currently open with the others opening in early 2025.

Athletes seeking advance training in the Flint Hills and a guaranteed spot on the starting line can register for the UNBOUND Gravel Training Camp presented by Shimano. Participation in the April 3-6, 2025, training camp includes automatic race entry. Registration is limited and now open.

Additionally, charity spots through the Life Time Foundation are another way cyclists can secure a spot at the 2025 UNBOUND Gravel. Registration to become a LTF athlete is limited and now open.
