AF Events announces Summer Vibes Bike Rally & Run Fest for June in Colorado

This New Mountain Festival for Adventure Seekers is the Summer counter part to the Old Man Winter Rally

/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Today AF Events, producer of many top active events in Colorado, announces the SUMMER VIBES Bike Rally and & Run Fest – a new Mountain Festival for Adventure Seekers. Designed to be the best weekend of the year for the outdoorsy, the festival will include an exciting list of unique endurance events and fun adventurous activities.

Hosted by the Town of Lyons, Summer Vibes Fest’s base camp will be Bohn Park, a beautiful and expansive park at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Lyons, Colorado has a history of hosting the Burning Can Fest at the Lyons Outdoor Games, a festival that was unfortunately a casualty of the pandemic. AF Events also produced this festival for many years and wanted to find a way to bring it back with a modernized format. “We loved this festival so much and had to find away to bring back the sports, music, and camping that made it so special to the community,” explains Josh Kravetz, AF Events President and Director of Summer Vibes. “Now that Old Man Winter Rally is well-established as an ‘epic winter adventure’ , we thought it would blow some minds if we could create a summer counterpart event for runners and riders while adding in more live music, playing in the river, bigger live bands, and onsite camping.” The result is Summer Vibes Fest – the love child of Old Man Winter Rally and Burning Can Fest at the Lyons Outdoor Games. It will take place on June 21st, 2025 with campers staying overnight under the stars.

Events planned for the Summer Vibes Fest so far include:

• Adventurous Gravel Bike Races
• Trail Run Relay and the return of “The Beer Relay”
• Mixed terrain 10K and 5K running races
• River activities
• Trail Dog 5K Run
• Dirt Jump Competition for mountain bikers an BMXers
• Live bands playing into the night
• A Huge ‘Bohnfire’
• Onsite camping for tents, cars, and rooftop tents
• A wide variety of cold beers, healthy drinks, great food vendors
• Family fun including inflatables, kick bike races, and kids contests

The full launch of the festival is planned the start of 2025 which will include registration for the races and announcement of the music line up. However, between Nov 1st – Nov 15th, participants registering for the 2025 Old Man Winter Rally will have access to highly discounted entries for any running or riding event at Summer Vibes.
