With Reflo leading the way in sustainable performancewear, this partnership aligns with both brands’ promise to provide forward-thinking and innovative solutions to sustainability – reimagining sport partnerships through a future proof lens.
Rory McFadyen, Reflo Co-Founder: “This is such an exciting partnership for us. Not only are we extending our presence in the all-electric carbon net zero sport of Formula E, but doing so with a team that maintains exceptional principles and pedigree in the championship. Nissan Formula E Team’s famous Sakura design is one of the most distinctive in the series, so we are thrilled to work with it and see it incorporated in our fabrics and designs. As a company committed to becoming the most sustainable sportswear brand in the world, we benchmark success through partnerships that adopt our teamwear and weave its values into everyday life. Through this collaboration we will merge top-tier performance with unwavering sustainability practices, such as our pioneering RELOOP solution and community focussed activities. Together, we hope to inspire other teams and sports to follow suit, future proofing the competitive world of racing and beyond.”
“Reflo prioritises the sourcing, design and development of recycled and circular teamwear, as well as the provision of sustainable packaging, delivery services, waste management and wider environmental initiatives. Reflo is continually dedicated to making a tangible impact on the environment and wider communities, having to date, recycled the equivalent of over 1 million plastic bottles, offset over 400 tonnes of carbon, planted over 100,000 trees and supported causes through monetary and resource contributions.”
Tommaso Volpe, managing director and team principal, Nissan Formula E Team: “I’m delighted to welcome Reflo for the next two seasons of Formula E. The company matches our vision for sustainability and performance, making it the perfect apparel partner for us. Like Nissan Formula E Team, Reflo is committed to building a greener future through innovation, and we look forward to exploring new technologies in apparel development to provide our team with the best possible sustainable kit and create a more unique and exciting range of products for our fans all around the world.”
This is a continuation of Reflo’s pledge to become the most sustainable sportswear brand in the world and comes as the next involvement from the brand that has recently celebrated partnerships across a range of sports including golf, padel, training, running and now motorsports.
