Nashville, TN, October 17, 2024 /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Dirt Circus Bentonville, a trail race festival by UltraSignup and Rush Running, are excited to announce Nike Trail, CloudIT, and T-Mobile among the sponsorship lineup for this year’s event. The packed weekend of trail racing promises excitement, competition, and support from both inside and outside the endurance sports industry, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all participants. The marquee 10K trail race on Saturday is the USATF 10K Trail national championship race, featuring the largest prize purse ever seen at a 10K trail event and will be livestreamed to fans around the world.
CloudIT is the first of its kind technology service provider to enter the market, combining a range of enterprise level innovations into flexible packages featuring a simplified cost structure, enabling small businesses to leverage advanced technology and drive results. Not only is the Dirt Circus Bentonville livestream powered by CloudIT, the crowdfunded prize purse is also getting even sweeter with their help. Thanks to CloudIT, for every dollar spectators contribute to the purse they’ll receive an entry to win $2000 in UltraSignup race credit!
“We’re excited to support Dirt Circus and the trail running community. This is a unique event allowing us to show our commitment to everyday runners along with rewarding the front of the pack. We’re thrilled to be working with thought leaders, top athletes and fast-growing brands who are just as passionate about trail running as we are. It’s not common to see a tech company doing what we do within this community. That is something we’re very proud of and hope to leave a legacy behind that inspires others to bring out the best in themselves every single day,” commented Ozzy Nunez, CRO of CloudIT, on the importance of their involvement in the race.
Nike Trail will kick off the weekend with a pre-event shakeout run on Friday November 15, giving participants the perfect opportunity to warm up and connect with the trail running community. Join Nike and Rush Running to scope out the local trails and the competition. Fayetteville-based Grey Matter Human Performance will be on-site offering post-race recovery services, helping runners recuperate after pushing themselves on the challenging courses. T-Mobile will also join us onsite all weekend. Nike, Grey Matter, and T-Mobile have all helped up the ante by contributing to the elite prize purse.
The Dirt Circus Bentonville will feature races for runners of all levels, including a 5K, 10K, 10 mile, and a kids 1K race. The 10K distance will serve as the USATF 10K Trail National Championship. Participants will not only be racing for the national title but will also be competing for one of the largest prize purses ever seen in trail racing. Initially set at $10,000, the prize has now grown to $1,000 and continues to rise, thanks to community contributions. An interesting field of elite runners is assembling to chase both title and purse, among them is 2024 Olympian (Steeplechase) Marisa Howard.
“This event is about pushing boundaries—both in terms of performance and what we can offer to athletes. Trail runners deserve real prize money, and we’re proud to make this happen,” said UltraSignup’s Rob Goyen, co-organizer of the event.
