12th Consecutive Sellout for the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon

INDIANAPOLIS, /ENDURANCE SPORTWIRE/ – The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon – the 15th largest marathon in the United States and the biggest in Indiana – has sold out the full marathon distance for the 12th consecutive year, earlier than ever.

The 2024 CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon Race Weekend will feature participants from all 50 states and more than 25 countries from around the world. Organizers of the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon expect over 16,000 participants on Saturday, November 9, 2024, for the Monumental Marathon, Half Marathon and 5K distances.

The Monumental Health & Fitness Expo will kick off the weekend on Thursday, November 7, and Friday, November 8, at the Indiana Convention Center, Hall A. The Expo is open to the public and is an opportunity for participants to pick up their bibs and race materials. All attendees will get to check out the 2024 official race merchandise from Brooks Running, sponsor activations, and 50+ health & wellness vendors.

Additionally, race weekend will be highlighted by honorary guest Olympic Gold Medalist and Indianapolis native, Cole Hocker, as he joins Friday for the Speaker Series and at the race start and finish lines on Saturday.

The CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon and Half Marathon has consistently welcomed Olympians, thousands of Boston Qualifiers, and countless PR seekers from around the world since 2008. The courses are fast, flat, and ideal for first-time half and full marathoners. The 2023 race was highlighted with three event records and 18 athletes achieving the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Marathon time standard.

A waitlist is now available for the full marathon distance and participants will be accepted as space becomes available. Registration for the half marathon and 5K are nearing sellout, and will remain open online while supplies last.
