Norda and SOAR Launch Premium Trail-Running Apparel Collaboration

Seven-piece performance collection combines technical innovation with modern craftsmanship

10 OCTOBER, 2024, CANADA /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – For its latest release, Canadian trail running brand norda launches an apparel collaboration with British running brand SOAR. Rooted in their passion for serving runners with the very best, the footwear brand and apparel brand have come together to create a collection of seven premium performance garments engineered for trail running in cold conditions. Inspired by “komorebi” the Japanese term for “sunlight leaking through trees”, the pieces feature a bright yellow amid deep taupes and blacks, representing the feeling of sunlight as it reaches a trail runner in a dense forest.

Highlighting the collaboration further, the collection features a new lockup logo that utilizes the SOAR parallelogram in a radial configuration that further emphasizes the solar inspiration that’s at the heart of the product story.

As is expected from norda and SOAR, with the runners’ needs at the center of creation, each piece features quality materials and thoughtful details, resulting in a collection that offers runners the storage, breathability, comfort, and confidence they need for each run.

THE COLLECTION:

• Men’s Run Cargo Tight – $250 USD and Women’s Run Cargo Tight – $250 USD: Made from lightweight, breathable fabric, these tights seamlessly blend minimalist design with practical storage; featuring a multi-compartment waist pocket, they include a large stuff pocket, a garment tube, and a zipped valuables pocket.
• Men’s Long Run Shorts – $150 USD and Women’s Long Run Shorts – $150 USD: Crafted for high mileage without sacrificing comfort, these shorts feature a 17cm inseam and looser fit for added coverage on unruly trails, laser-cut ventilation holes, drawstring waistband. Engineered to get runners through cooler seasons or as cold weather shorts for hardy runners who don’t want to venture into tights.
• Unisex Winter Anorak – $440 USD: Cut in a four-panel tailored fit with fully taped seams, thumb loops, and a tightfitting hood to keep bad weather at bay, this anorak also features reflective details throughout, a large pocket at the rear, and an additional Napolean pocket on the chest. The anorak utilises SOAR’s proprietary Italian-made STORM fabric resulting in a weatherproof stretch fabric with a brushed inner face for comfort over long deep winter runs.
• Unisex Merino Silk Beanie – $50 USD: Engineered into a multi-paneled construction to achieve the perfect fit, this beanie is beautifully soft and naturally insulating, designed to add comfort and warmth to winter runs.
• Unisex WoolTech Top – $315 USD: Perfect for shifting weather conditions with quick-drying fabric that has naturally anti-bacterial and breathable properties and a tailored ergonomically paneled construction with laser-cut and fully bonded seams. Lightweight for logging miles in cool conditions, insulating for icy mornings, but able to wick when the intensity ramps up.
