SAN ANDRÉS, Colombia / MIAMI, Fla. / TAMPA, Fla. /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – IRONMAN, SBR SPORTS and the Government of San Andrés, Colombia have announced that the Island of San Andrés will be the newest host location of an IRONMAN® 70.3® triathlon. The inaugural edition of the IRONMAN 70.3 San Andrés triathlon will take place on June 15, 2025. San Andrés, a stunning paradise and one of Colombia’s most beloved tourist destinations, will offer athletes a unique racing experience on an island paradise. General registration for the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 San Andrés triathlon will open on September 14, 2024 at www.ironman.com/im703-san-andres.

The IRONMAN 70.3 San Andrés triathlon will offer participants an impressive course surrounded by the island’s crystal-clear waters and natural beauty. Athletes will start the competition with a 1,900-meter (1.2-mile) swim in the turquoise waters of Caribbean Sea, followed by a 90-kilometer (56-mile) bike course, which will take athletes on two laps around the island, offering unrivaled views of the Caribbean. Finally, competitors will face a 21-kilometer (13.1-mile) run course, consisting of three laps on a course with ocean views, culminating their journey by crossing the finish line on an iconic red carpet between palm trees, with the breathtaking ocean backdrop.
