Spotlighting Inspiration, The James Brand Introduces Be James

PORTLAND, OR (August 27, 2024) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/The James Brand – makers of modern, minimal everyday carry products – launches Be James°, a series spotlighting individuals who push boundaries, challenge norms, and inspire others to step outside their comfort zones. By showcasing the diverse talents and experiences of athletes, artists, and creators, The James Brand aims to foster a community of individuals who constantly push themselves and explore the unexpected. These stories will be shared across The James Brand’s website, digital platforms, pop-up events and at The James Brand retail HQ in Oceanside, CA offering an intimate look into the lives and worldviews of those who embody the ethos of James.

We hope to inspire our community to embrace new challenges by sharing their stories.”

Be James° debuts with a short film on Arto Saari, a former professional skateboarder turned acclaimed photographer. Saari’s journey from skateboarding prodigy to visual storyteller exemplifies the spirit of reinvention and passion that Be James° seeks to highlight. Bringing this story to life is award-winning Filipino-American filmmaker Christopher Murphy. Murphy grew up roaming the streets on a skateboard while documenting his friends with a Hi8 DV camera to evolving into a respected director, producer, and cinematographer. Murphy’s distinct visual style infuses authenticity and creativity, creating resonation on a deeper level.
