Amazon Generously Supports Free Registration for Kids Day Events at Boston Triathlon

Amazon Continues as Official Community Partner at the Boston Triathlon
BOSTON, MA – July 11, 2024/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – ethos, the mass participation event organization that presents the Boston Triathlon, today announced that, for the third year running, Amazon will be the official community partner of Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon. Thanks to Amazon’s partnership, registration for Kids Day is free to all. Kids Day takes place on Saturday, August 17, 2024, and is part of the weekend long Boston Triathlon event. “One of the pillars of our event is ensuring the triathlon experience is accessible to all, so we are excited to work with Amazon once again to make Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon free for all kids who want to take part,” said Michael O’Neil, president of the Boston Triathlon. “Kids from around the region who want to get outside to run and swim in South Boston will continue to have the opportunity to participate thanks to Amazon’s generous support.”
Designed to inspire health and fitness and to give all kids a positive pathway through sports, Kids Day at the Boston Triathlon will feature the USA Triathlon-sanctioned Kids Splash & Dash for athletes ages 7-15, as well as a Kids Fun Run for athletes under the age of seven. Youth groups from across New England are invited to participate, as well as individual children.

The Boston Triathlon includes Kids Day on August 17th and both Olympic and sprint distance races, and supertri Boston on August 18th. The weekend long event expected to bring more than 2,500 participants and thousands of spectators to the Boston waterfront for two days of races for kids, adults, relay teams, and Olympic triathletes. On Sunday, the Columbia Threadneedle Investments Boston Triathlon includes a swim that takes place at Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) Carson Beach, a bike ride on DCR William Day Boulevard, and a beautiful run in South Boston. Boston Triathlon participants and fans will also have the opportunity to watch the fastest Olympic triathletes compete as part of supertri Boston, the last event of the weekend.
