Big River Race Management Times Two National Records at HOKA Festival of Miles

US Girls High School Outdoor Mile Record Broken Twice in Ten Minutes

ST. LOUIS (June 4, 2024)/ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Big River Race Management timed back-to-back national high school records at HOKA Festival of Miles while providing in-depth timing services for the track meet nationally renowned for its fast times on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Allie Zealand a senior from Pacers Homeschool (VA) won the HOKA High School Girls Championship Mile in 4:30.38 – a new US high school outdoor mile record. About 10 minutes later, Sadie Engelhardt, a junior from Ventura High School (CA), crossed the finish line of the Drury Women’s Mile in 4:28.46, taking back the national record and became the first high school girl to run under 4:30 outdoors in the mile. In addition, Big River Race Management timed its eighth sub-4 minute mile run by a US high school boy when Drew Griffith, a senior from Butler Senior High (PA) ran a US #1 (3:57.72) in the HOKA High School Boys Championship Mile.
