Suunto Named Presenting Sponsor of 2024 Hardrock Hundred Livestream

May 29, 2024

Silverton, COLORADO /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Mountain Outpost is excited to announce a partnership with Suunto, a global leader in the wearables space, for the 2024 Hardrock Hundred Livestream. This collaboration will help bring an elevated livestream experience to one of the most iconic 100-mile foot races in the world to fans globally.

As part of this partnership, Suunto will officially be named the Presenting Sponsor of the 2024 Hardrock Hundred Livestream.

“Suunto is laser focused on meeting its users where they most often seek adventure – in the mountains and on the trails. Hardrock is such an incredible event, and Suunto wants to help as many trail running enthusiasts experience the race as possible, even if being on the starting line or in the San Juans simply isn’t in the cards.” said Daniel Suher, Head of Sales for North America at Suunto. “That is why Suunto has partnered with Aravaipa Running and Mountain Outpost to present this year’s live coverage of the Hardrock Hundred.”

This partnership between the Mountain Outpost and Suunto injects fresh energy and resources into the livestream experience, building upon the momentum of last year’s productions. Mountain Outpost, known for its innovative approach to capturing the essence of trail running events, shares the Hardrock Hundred and Suunto’s commitment to showcasing the true spirit of the sport and the grit of its athletes across all ability levels.

“Our partnership with Suunto was born from a passion for sharing the beauty of the San Juans and Hardrock Hundred with the masses.” said Matt Feldhake, Director of Marketing at Aravaipa Running. “Without the support of an incredible brand partner like Suunto, telling a more dynamic and authentic Hardrock Hundred LIVE story would be a major undertaking. With their collaboration, we feel strongly that we will be able to bring an incredible digital viewing experience to fans of the sport around the globe.”

Mountain Outpost will kick off the second edition of the Hardrock Hundred Livestream at 5:30 AM on Friday July 12th. The Hardrock Hundred starts and ends in Silverton, Colorado and travels through the towns of Telluride, Ouray, and the ghost town of Sherman, crossing thirteen major passes above 12,000 ft. in elevation and giving runners (and the viewing audience) an incredible showcase of the beauty of the San Juan Mountains.

With more than 48 hours of live coverage, tune in to follow all of your favorite runners including Suunto Elite Athletes Courtney Dauwalter (defending champion and course record holder), Francois D’Haene (2021 champion) and Zach Miller taking on his first Hardrock Endurance Run.
