The Thömus brand was founded in Switzerland in 1991, quickly earning its reputation for dedication to custom-tailoring bike models and specs for each individual rider, especially in Europe. Their bikes have been racing on the World Cup circuit since 2016, but they’ve only recently become available in the USA. Established in 2021, Thömus USA in Santa Monica, California, is the exclusive retailer and manufacturer of Thömus bikes in North America.

Consumers in the U.S. can now buy the Lightrider World Cup, the exact bike ridden by the pro team, with a wide range of available builds and customization options. Also available at the shop are road, gravel and city bikes, in both traditional and electric-assist models. The US office is also currently putting the final touches on an e-commerce platform to launch within a few weeks: exposure from the pro team results at the World Championships, UCI World Cup Series and other triumphs across North America will certainly help facilitate a successful launch of the site.

“What a weekend for Thömus-Maxon; a huge congratulations to the entire squad,” says Casper Casparian, CMO for Thömus USA. “We’re incredibly proud to be the exclusive retailer of Thömus Bikes in North America, partly because of the outstanding team of athletes representing us on the World Cup, but also because they’re simply the best-engineered, best-built bikes you can find on the market.
