The Pikes Peak APEX, presented by RockShox, is just around the corner (September 8-10), and we are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to join us for one or more days of this incredible event whether you’re riding, running, volunteering, or celebrating with us at the APEX Festival & Expo.
This unique event takes place on the slopes of Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain and offers breathtaking views and epic trails that will test your skills and endurance.
Registration is now available for the September 8-10 event, and we want to remind you that prices will be increasing July 1. Register today and take advantage of reduced pricing!

3-Day MTB Challenge Pricing: January 1 – June 30: $345 July 1 – Race Day: $395
Single Day Pricing (Friday & Sunday only):
Stage 1 (Friday, September 8): Palmer Park Prologue
January 1 – Race Day: $59
Stage 3 (Sunday, September 10): Cheyenne Canyon
January 1 – Race Day: $125
Registration fee includes one or three days of riding, fully-stocked aid stations, tech support from SRAM/RockShox, a swag bag with some cool stuff, and a post-event awards meal with a
drink at the festival on Sunday!

Pikes Peak APEX Trail Run Presented by SCHEELS
The Pikes Peak APEX Trail Run consists of a 5K and 10K race and is an awesome way to get involved with the APEX outside of the mountain bike challenge. The Trail Run gives participants an opportunity to experience some incredible Colorado Springs trails!
Awards will be given to the top three women and trop three men overall in each race category. The best part? All racers will receive a t-shirt and complimentary beer at the festival after the race and enjoy a day full of activities that celebrate outdoor recreation!

APEX Outdoor Festival & Expo
The APEX Outdoor Festival & Expo will feature a full day of activities that celebrate outdoor recreation. The festival festivities will kick off at 10:00am and the fun will continue with food trucks, beer garden, activities, and more for competitors and non-competitors alike!
We welcome outdoor organizations and recreation brands to join us for the APEX Festival. This opportunity offers exposure to an audience of cyclists, runners and outdoor enthusiasts in an exciting atmosphere, located across from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum with views of Pikes Peak and the front range.

Volunteer & Vendor Information
The Pikes Peak APEX, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help make this year’s event a huge success! This unique multi-day mountain bike challenge on the slopes of Pikes Peak takes a village to make it happen.
To encourage multi-day volunteering, we have special perks available for each day worked. If you work, one day you will receive a Pikes Peak APEX volunteer t-shirt. If you work more than one day, you will get two shirts plus an additional bit of swag. If you work three days, you will be eligible for even more cool stuff from our partners at ASSOS, RockShox, and more!

Saturday, May 27th
Mad Gravel is about Mad Fun and Mad Off-road Passion!
We have added a short-track MTB race to accompany our gravel circuit race on Saturday. For runners, we offer a challenging 11K trail run in the scenic Scout Ranch.
Bring the family, camp, and join us for nightly activities hosted by some great cycling teams. There will be cycling clinics, tours, kids’ events, and live music.
