Gnarly Nutrition achieves NSF Certification for entire product line

Salt Lake City, UT (August 31, 2022) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – Gnarly Nutrition is excited to announce that all of their powdered supplements are now NSF Certified. NSF Certification is the gold standard for nutrition products, indicating that products meet strict standards for public health protection and, at a baseline, it provides validity behind label claims and ingredients.

There are two levels of certification. Products that are NSF Content Certified go through independent testing for label claims and contaminants—meaning that the ingredients listed on the label are exactly the contents you’ll find inside. Every product from Gnarly is NSF Content Certified. The second type of certification is NSF for Sport, which ensures safety for athletes who compete at an elite level and have strict anti-doping rules in place. Products are tested for over 270 banned substances as well as stimulants, narcotics, steroids, diuretics and masking agents. There are several flavors of Gnarly products that are NSF for Sport Certified, on top of their Content Certification. Since a majority of elite athletes report taking nutrition supplements to boost performance and recovery, NSF Certification is a huge value-add that Gnarly is thrilled to provide through its products.

For either type of certification, every aspect of a product’s development is thoroughly evaluated—from extensive product testing and material analyses to unannounced plant inspections. Most importantly, NSF certification is not a one-time event, but involves regular on-site inspections of manufacturing facilities and regular re-testing of products to ensure that they continue to meet the same high standards required to maintain certification over time.
