True won the IRONMAN Lake Placid recently, with a record-breaking time of 9 hours and 22 seconds in the 140.6-mile triathlon; she broke the course record for the women’s 140.6 miler by nearly 10 minutes. True also won in June of this year at the IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman in Maryland with a time of 4 hours, 3 minutes, and 52 seconds. She will be carrying this momentum into the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona in October.
