(October 25, 2021) /ENDURANCE SPORTSWIRE/ – The Rock ‘n’ Roll^® Running Series, a best-in-class running series Bringing the Fun to the Run™ through music, entertainment, and community immersion will make its way to the Atlantic City Boardwalk in 2022, following a two year wait. The inaugural edition of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Atlantic City is scheduled to take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15, 2022, with distances including half marathon and 5K. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series will kick off the summer by treating thousands of participants and active lifestyle enthusiasts to a one-of-a-kind race experience that highlights Atlantic City’s iconic resorts and beautiful coastal communities.

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Atlantic City event weekend will feature a half marathon along with a 5K distances. Participants will be able to take on the “Remix Challenge” by running both Saturday and Sunday to earn the coveted Remix Challenge medal in addition to each race’s finisher medals.

Race week will kick-off on Friday, May 13, 2022 when the Health and Fitness Expo opens to the public, featuring the latest products and trends in the running industry. Runners and walkers of all levels from around the world will then take in the sights and sounds of Atlantic City on Saturday, May 14 for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Atlantic City 5K and continue to use the Beat in Their Feet™ on May 15, 2022 for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Atlantic City Half Marathon. After starting out at Bader Field, race participants will experience the beautiful shore towns of Ventnor before they eventually make their way to the world-famous Boardwalk for the final six miles. Playing to the rich musical history of New Jersey, the musically themed event will amp up the on-course bands and DJs for competitors to enjoy as they race their way to a finish line after-party festival.

Located on New Jersey’s Atlantic coast, Atlantic City is a prime destination and accessible by many, with the world-renowned Atlantic City Boardwalk situated right on the coastline. This New Jersey staple features shops, bars, and casinos, offering a lively experience with a world-class view.
