NorCalUltras Ghost Bridge 14? Endurance Race Debuts in Folsom, CA

Register for the Ghost Bridge 14? Outdoor Trail Race Slated for Saturday, April 3, 2021

The Ghost Bridge 14? endurance race presented by NorCalUltras is returning safely and responsibly to Folsom, California. The race will take place on Saturday, April 3 at Brown’s Ravine Folsom Lake SRA at 7 a.m. Registration is open now and a portion of each entry fee will be donated to Fit for Girls. There will be five staggered wave starts assigned by race management when registration closes. COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed at the race and runners are required to wear masks before and after the race. The Ghost Bridge 14? course is NorCalUltras’ newest addition. The bridge was built in 1929, before the Folsom Dam and is made of concrete. After multiple GPS and map checks, no one knows the mileage of the race down to the decimal point – it is more than 14 miles, but no more than 15 miles. The beautiful 14ish-mile point-to-point course starts at Brown’s Ravine Folsom Lake SRA and finishes at the Salmon Falls Bridge Parking Lot.

All runners are eligible to win prizes from a random drawing and will be announced after the race. Two lucky winners will win a TheraGun, one winner per wave will receive a $20 gift card to Fleet Feet and five winners will receive a prize from GU by taking a selfie with the ghost after mile 10.

The race benefits Fit for Girls, which is a non-profit organization that uses the process of training for a 5K race to empower middle school girls to develop life skills that will enable them to cross finish lines of all types on their road ahead. The Fit for Girls vision is to provide a program designed to grow the whole girl giving her the tools she needs to turn her dreams into tangible goals and overcome the challenges she encounters with a plan and added confidence.
