Race Day Events is Heading East with Acquisition

Race Day Events acquires events and race timing operations from Michigan-based Endurance Evolution

Race Day Events based in Fitchburg, WI is happy to announce the acquisition of a portfolio of events and timing operations from Endurance Evolution. According to Ryan Griessmeyer, President of Race Day Events, “We have known Joel for a while, when he approached us about joining forces, we were very excited to have the discussion. Adding Endurance Evolution fits with our goals and long-range vision.”

Race Day Events will take over management and production of the Endurance Evolution races with continued guidance from the Endurance Evolution team. “With Race Day Events, I’m more confident than ever in the long-term success that these events will have, as well as being able to continue to provide first-class timing services to our clients in Northwest Lower Michigan and beyond” said Joel Gaff, Jr., Owner of Endurance Evolution. The events include the Sleeping Bear Marathon, Half Marathon, & 5K; the Traverse City Triathlon, trail runs, virtual events as well as timing for a full slate of partner races.

The expansion into the lower peninsula of Michigan adds a new market as well as new venues for Race Day Events. Victoria Rouse, Director of Marketing for Race Day Events, said “The ability to introduce our existing events to this new audience as well as these new events to our current participants is a win-win for everyone.”  Gaff went on to say, “There is a great community of runners, triathletes and events here in Northwest Lower Michigan, and the natural beauty of the region creates a perfect backdrop.
