The new Virtual Racing service from Final Surge is in response to the many requests the company has received over the past weeks from organizations, race directors, clubs and coaches who are wanting to host their own virtual event due to the large number of race cancellations around the world.  This new service utilizes the existing Final Surge platform and technology to allow virtual participants to come together, engage socially using the Final Surge social walls and message boards, and view their results compared to other finishers.

Results can be synced to the virtual race through one of the many platforms with which Final Surge syncs data, such as Garmin Connect, Strava, Polar Flow, Stryd, COROS and more.  Manual data entry is also available through the Final Surge apps.  Participants can then view overall results and splits, as well as results sorted by age-group, gender and even location.

The Final Surge Virtual Racing service allows coaches, clubs and event directors to create races of any distance in the sports of running, cycling, swimming, triathlon and duathlon. This includes virtual stage races (example: a 3-day event that includes a 10k run on the first day, a 5k run on the second day, and a half marathon on the third day). These can be done on a single day, or participants can be allowed to complete the race over a range of days. The platform allows race directors to be very creative.
