A panel of Pro Triathletes will gather in Atlanta to discuss women’s progress in endurance sport

Victoria, B.C. – Live Feisty Media is pleased to announce the first IronWomen LIVE event in Atlanta, Georgia at 6:30pm Wednesday, February 26, 2020. The event will include a panel focused on women’s continued progress in sport and will be centered around the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials occurring Saturday, February 29, 2020.

The panel will be moderated by IronWomen podcast co-host Alyssa Godesky and includes triathletes Haley Chura, Ruth Brennan Morrey, and Sarah Bishop; all of whom will be running the Olympic Trials Marathon. The goal of the panel is to celebrate the progress women have made in endurance sports and to continue the conversation about working together to remove barriers.

Alyssa Godesky, a professional triathlete, says she’s “looking forward to shining a spotlight on the amazing accomplishments of these women, while encouraging conversation about timely issues in women’s sports.” She is particularly excited to bring the IronWomen podcast to life for the first time in Atlanta where: “the triathlon and running communities are second-to-none!”

Fellow IronWomen co-host and runner at the Trials, Haley Chura, agrees and adds: “Sarah, Ruth, and I have all raced as professional triathletes, and we will all be racing the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials, but our personal and sport histories vary drastically. I look forward to hearing about their paths to the 2020 Trials as well as getting an opportunity to meet many of our listeners in person.”

The IronWomen Live Event will be capped at an audience of one hundred and will include the panel, drinks, and reception at OxWork Business Club. Tickets are available online for purchase at livefeisty.com.
