Kahtoola Wins New Product Showcase Award at The Running Event

Flagstaff, Ariz. (Dec. 18, 2019) – Kahtoola, creator of award-winning MICROspikes® and NANOspikes® footwear traction, is proud to announce it has received the “New Product Showcase Award” at The Running Event (TRE) in December 2019. Chosen by fellow TRE attendees, Kahtoola’s new EXOspikes™ (versatile traction for flexible footwear) took home the honors.

“We are so excited to be honored,” said Danny Giovale, Founder and President at Kahtoola. “We put so much time, effort, and love into our product design and it’s just awesome to be chosen by our fellow running enthusiasts as a product that can make a real difference in the daily lives of runners.”

As part of the recognition, TRE gifted Kahtoola $1,000 to donate to a nonprofit or charity of their choice. Kahtoola matched the award gift for a grand total of $2,000 to be shared between two local nonprofits as recipients, Team Run Flagstaff – Youth and Girls on the Run of Northern Arizona. Both organizations promote and support running among underserved populations local to Flagstaff and Northern Arizona, where Kahtoola has been headquartered for 20 years.
